Using the Brand
Since our launch in April 2007, there has been much enthusiasm from our stakeholders. We want this support to continue. Maintaining support from the business community is particularly important and we want to ensure that the economic benefits from the Institute are felt by the whole of the UK.
Businesses nationwide offer us opportunities to support them by endorsing them in their ventures. But to protect our stakeholders’ investment in the new Institute, and to give them exclusive association with us, we must prevent other businesses exploiting the Institute and the brand without our authorisation.
Only external organisations offering endorsed services to members and centres that are approved to offer the Institute’s qualifications are entitled to use the Institute of Business Consulting logo. In order to use our logo and strapline, an indemnity form should be completed to confirm that the user will adhere to the brand guidelines.
How do I use the logo?
Our design guidelines provide detailed guidance on using the logo and strapline. It also has examples of how our brand is used on a range of promotional materials. Download a copy of the guidelines for your reference.
All organisations must gain approval of the material by emailing a pdf of your proposed artwork to marketing before going to print.
How long does it take to get approval?
A response email will usually be sent within 24 hours of emailing your artwork for approval.
Do I need my artwork approved if I am a Region?
Institute Regions have a series of marketing templates which have already been approved, so they won’t have to go through the approval process. Contact Marketing for further information. However, if the templates available do not cover your proposed use, send your logo request to Marketing and go through the approval process as above.
