What is the CMC Award?
The Certified Management Consultant Award is the mark of a competent and confident consultant. It is the only internationally portable consultancy award and is recognised in 67 countries. The IBC is the only organisation in the United Kingdom who is able to award the CMC and is accreditted to do so by the ICMCI.
The CMC Award is achieved by completing a competency-based assessment process – the competencies are set at the Independence level of our Management Consultancy Competence Framework and undertaken by experienced assessors who assess the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to be a successful consultant.
By achieving this award, you indicate to clients and peers that you have been independently verified against universally accepted standards for experienced business consultants.

Clive is a Fellow of IBC and an assessor for the CMC qualification.

"The status of Certified Management Consultant provides is an assessment of competency which is internationally recognised. Supporting Certificate qualifications based on examination are also available, such as our 3 day consulting skills programme, and learner dissertations are independently assessed by the IBC. We provide practical assignment support over several months to improve performance so delegates can apply their knowledge to client projects in hand.
