Definition of 'Coaching'
The development of a person's skills and knowledge, through one-to-one training. Coaching is usually conducted by a more senior and experienced colleague. It involves planned training activities that have measurable outcomes, and is designed to facilitate learning by providing guidance and support, as well as tutoring.
