Consultancy standards

Underpinning the professional development offering for our members are a range of competence standards and National Occupational Standards.

The Management Consultancy Competence Framework is the culmination of research and wide consultation throughout the profession. It builds on the competencies required to gain the international Certified Management Consultant (CMC) Award Business support standards.

Business Support Competence

IBC has also built a competence framework for Business Advisers. Based on the National Occupational Standards for business support, this framework illustrates the competences that a business adviser would be expected to demonstrate in their role. Thise members who meet this level can apply for the CBA award
