The Business Support as a Profession Advisory Group ( BSAPAG) support the National Register in order to identify those individual Business Advisers and Consultants who can demonstrate current competence.
BSAPAG supports the Institute of Business Consulting in hosting the National Register which is open to both non-members and members. The National Register enables Business Advisers and Consultants to record not only their competence but also their qualifications and experience.
The National Register will also benefit the purchasing community by simplifying the process of selecting appropriately qualified and experienced Business Advisers and Consultants, who can deliver a professional level of support.
Further support for the National Register
This framework provides a mechanism for identifying the competence, knoweldge and experience of Business Advisers and Management Consultants and is supported by the Business Support as a Profession Advisory Group (BSAPAG) which compromises of representative from, Business Enterprise Regulatory and Reform (BERR), Chartered Mangagement Institute (CMI), Department for Innovation Universities and Skills (DIUS), East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA), Life long Learning UK (LLUK), Learning and Skills Council (LSC), Management Standards Centre (MSC), National Federation of Enterprise Agencies (NFEA), SFEDI (sets the standards for small business learning and support) Social Enterprise and UK Trade and Investment (UKTI).
